Software Development Manager

Drive employee performance and engagement through goal setting, continuous skill enhancement, and initiatives aimed at improving overall job satisfaction. Approve software architecture designs, ensuring they meet technical specifications, manage project financial modeling, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to the ideation of new software initiatives. Oversee Jira task management, ensuring timely tracking, organization, and smooth progress, while leading prioritization and quarterly planning to align with business objectives and optimize resource allocation. Collaborate with a team of engineers and architects on various Gen product engineering features including Security, Identity, Privacy, and Home and Family protection. Research, design, and develop computer software. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Architect the cloud infrastructure and maintain the telemetry endpoints for all Gen customers. Use a wide array of technology and tools, including programming languages for software development; Azure services for application and network security development; and technologies for cloud application development and services management such as Microsoft Azure functions. Supervise and lead a team of professional engineers in the development of cloudified data solutions, products, and services to serve Gen product telemetry and event integration. Responsible for the oversight of 4 Software Engineers. May telecommute.
