OPD benefits

To help you stay fit and be healthy, Gen offers you and your family a complete health protection package. This health plan covers a wide range of preventive and reactive health support benefits to ensure that your family can stay well. This cover is through Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company, powered by Bajaj Finserv Health Ltd.

Medical insurance portability

Portability is the transfer of the credit gained by a team member leaving the company for preexisting conditions and time-bound exclusions if you choose to switch from one plan to another plan of the same insurer, provided that the previous policy has been maintained without any break.

Team members under the Gen group health insurance policy can opt to port out to individual health insurance after fulfilling certain conditions and paying premiums directly to the insurance provider. Gen offers this option to team members in collaboration with our group health insurance provider, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

You and your eligible family members receive confidential, professional counseling sessions by phone or in person per issue per year—at no cost to you. Talk to a professional counsellor, who can help you:

  • Manage stress, anxiety, depression, and addiction
  • Handle relationship issues and divorce
  • Develop your resilience
  • Cope with illness and death
  • Manage your finances and create a financial plan

  2. Creche allowance

    Female team members and single parents with children 4 months to 5 years are eligible for a monthly creche allowance for up to two children. This allowance is taxable per applicable local laws and is designed to ease the cost of early childcare while you focus on your career.
